Philip Roth has passed. One of the great ones has left us. Interview in Swedish newspaper on the matter in GP kultur 24/5 and also a radioessay in OBS P1 published on the same day.

This fall I will be giving lectures on Plato's Republic at the University of Gothenburg. Previously, I have held similar close reading courses on Sigmund Freud, Jacques Derrida, Frantz Fanon and Judith Butler.

Just back home from the conference "Il disagio e la modernità" in Modena. Interview with me on the subject is to be published in "La città del secondo rinascimiento".
